I'm getting started on a new novel! I've been dreaming about this for years now. Then earlier this year when I traveled to Toronto to receive the IRA Children's Book Award for BLUE, I discovered I'd be next door to the area I want to write about. Voila! Research trip in the making!
And what a trip I had! I visited Niagara Falls - big scary water - the picture is on my computer desktop now so it sucks me into this story every day! The other part of the trip was a visit to a certain museum where I met enthusiastic folks who want to help me out.
