NOT YOUR MAMA'S HISTORICAL FICTION

Every so often my publisher sends me a fat envelope with news and reviews of BLUE. It’s always fun to see who has reviewed it and what they have to say.

This week one of the items I received was a brief article from Instructor Magazine highlighting historical fiction. Then today, I discovered the same piece here.

It’s fun finding Blue alongside Louisiana's Song, Penny From Heaven, and Hattie Big Sky - okay, well, really - it's a thrill to find it with all 7 of the other books on the list!

I haven’t read The Miner’s Daughter by Gretchen Moran Laskas. But soon - very soon.

  1. How cool is that?! That's wonderful, Joyce! I got a little good news today, too. My book has been officially recommended to the senior editor. OOOo, pinch me!

Congrats on paving the way in historical fiction :)
