On Thursday Chuck and I took two of our grands to
Grove Park Inn in Asheville.

The National Gingerbread House contest entries were all there. I loved that one of the winning entries was this room full of books! (click on the pictures to see them in detail!)

Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way...

See the ants crawling down this picnic basket. I do have more gingerbread pics but you might actually want to visit the
Grove Park Inn site for a look at the winners. The photos there are so much better than mine.
Grove Park Inn is an amazing place. I didn't actually take too many pics but I couldn't help but take a few in this lower level hallway leading to the spa. The stone walls with their natural formations were so fascinating.

We were fascinated with the gems embedded in the hallway walls.

Friday I went with my daughter and granddaughter to see our little buddy Linkin perform in
Hickory Day School's production of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The set was gorgeous and the kids were fantastic!

And check out a bit of the action!
Love this Christmas spirit! And hearing Nicole laugh too!
