1. Safe travel and hubby did the driving
2. An already fine motel room was upgraded to a suite - nice!
3. H.H. Poole Middle School is one happening place. I was inundated with enthusiasm and incredible hospitality. (More on this when time permits.)
4. Friends made along the way!
5. The realization that a story can connect so powerfully with readers and that readers can touch the author in return.
6. Homemade banana bread and the hands that prepared it!
