I bring you (just in time for the end of summer) - a link to Katie Davis' newsletter filled with summer activities. Katie generously included BLUE among the suggested reading.

I meant to tell you about this sooner but my summer disappeared into a flurry of trips, book revisions, and constant catch-up on yard work.

Not to worry - the books and activities included in Katie's newsletter are also great for classroom use. No reason to relegate them to summer! You, by the way, can subscribe to Katie's infrequent and not-at-all-annoying newsletter by emailing her at katiedavis@katiedavis.com .

Katie Davis is (among many amazing things) the creator of autobigograstrip.

Say what?!

An autobiograstrip is your life as a comic strip. And guess who is the author of your life in comics? (Helpful hint: The answer is not Katie Davis.)

Stay calm - Katie not only provides the tools for making your autobiograstrip: she even tells you how to pronounce it!

And that's just the beginning of the Katie Davis adventure! Her website is a trip in itself - so hop on over.

And while you're in the neighborhood, do check out her latest book The Curse of Addy McMahon. Oh, the joys of being in 6th grade!
