AUDITIONS FOR BLUE

Today, my friend Amy sent me this link. Yes, it announces auditions for a stage production of BLUE which will be performed by CAST (Creative Arts Shoestring Theater) in May.

This has been in the works for some time and I have not announced it. Waiting on that final, final, "done deal" contract. Several local playwrights, Lamar Mitchell and Guy Guarino wrote the script and worked out arrangements with Cathy Stallings, the director of CAST's productions.

Lamar and Guy are Rotarians. For years and years, (that's what you say when you aren't sure just how many) Rotary International has been active in helping to eradicate polio from the world. So the proceeds from the play are going to that end! Is that fabulous or is that fabulous?
